Translation

Glory to Mother Lakshmi! Lord Hari Vishnu, the Creator, serves You day and night. You are Uma, Rama, and Brahmani -- the Mother of the universe. The Sun and Moon meditate upon You, and the sage Narada sings Your praises. You are the form of Durga, pure and untainted, the giver of happiness and wealth. Whoever meditates upon You attains prosperity, divine powers, and riches. You dwell even in the netherworld, You alone are the bestower of auspiciousness. You illuminate the effects of karma and are the savior from the ocean of worldly existence. In the home where You reside, all virtues come to dwell. May Goddess Lakshmi remain forever present as long as life endures. Beautiful temple of auspicious virtues, You emerged from the ocean of milk (Kshirodadhi). Without You, no one can obtain the fourteen jewels. Whoever sings this aarti of Goddess Mahalakshmi, and meditates upon Her in the heart with devotion, attains happiness and wealth.
